Hospitalizations fell from 1,279 to 1,315 on Tuesday morning, an increase of 36 people.
The latest figures show that there are 47,687 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state, and 2,217 people have died from the virus, with another 116 likely deaths.
During the pandemic, 8,179 people were hospitalized due to the virus, including 520 in intensive care units and 795 in acute care. Throughout the pandemic, 3,334 people were released from their isolation.
At present, 206,800 Marylanders have tested negative for the virus.
Prince George and Montgomery counties are still the most affected by the number of cases.
