Majority of all COVID-19 cases resolved in Waterloo region


The number of resolved cases of COVID-19 represents 66% of the current cases in the Waterloo region.

Public Health reported a total of 1,074 cases in the region on Saturday, of which 707 cases were resolved.

Public health has also not reported any new deaths related to COVID-19, making it the third consecutive day that the total is still 112 cases.

However, eight new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed by Public Health, including a new case of a resident with the virus at Forest Heights Revera.

The number of active households in the region remains at 13.

Since yesterday, more than 490 additional people have been tested for COVID-19, bringing the total number of tests to 15,199.
