Wednesday morning, just under two months after unveiling a new set of logos, the Los Angeles Rams finally unveiled their matching uniforms.“The SoFi Stadium is an iconic and transformative stadium that has encouraged us to design uniforms as innovative as our new home,” said Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff in a press release. “Our new uniforms preserve the legendary legacy of the Rams with the horns at the heart of the design, while introducing vibrant colors and revolutionary materials. We are proud to unveil a modern look for our players to wear as we embark on this exciting new era for the Los Angeles Rams. “
The royal blue helmet has a metallic finish and a blue mask with golden horns which imitate the logo “LA” of the Rams and finally the color corresponds to the rest of the uniform – unlike the inadequate return game that the team wore at the house in recent seasons.
The royal blue uniform features gold horns on the sleeves and a custom digital font based on the curvature and separation of the horn. The numbers also have a gradient effect, going from gold at the top to white at the bottom.
The Rams uniform – which also has their italic mark on the left chest, the “LA” logo on the back collar and the ram head logo on the inside collar – can be worn with gold or royal blue pants . The golden pants have thick blue and white thin stripes, while the blue pants have the same gradient effect as the numbers.
The bone-colored road uniform – which “draws inspiration from the color of a ram’s horn and LA sands” – goes in a different direction.
The digital font remains intact, but there is no degraded effect. The horns on the sleeve, on the other hand, are white with a thin yellow line and have been covered with blue numbers. The new stacked team wordmark also appears on the left chest.
The pants are bone colored with a thin yellow stripe and a thick white stripe on the side, and can apparently be worn with blue or white socks.
The new Los Angeles uniforms are set to hit the field for the first time on September 13, when the Rams host the Cowboys at the opening of preseason for the all-new state-of-the-art SoFi stadium.
