The star of the apprentice stressed that he was happy to learn that Piers did not have the deadly virus but shared that another presenter could intervene for Piers if he was not well and that he was “certainly not essential”.

The tweet said, “RT @piersmorgan My COVID-19 test was negative. I had the right to do so as an essential worker designated by the government. I will be back @GMB as soon as my doctor advises me, I agree to return to work. SINCERELY HAPPY TO HEAR, YOU ARE NEGATIVE. HOWEVER ARE YOU AN ESSENTIAL GOVT WORKER? “

Alan then micro-blogged again, going wild: “Did I miss something?” Like Govn’s “masochistic bill”. According to @piersmorgan he is an essential worker designated by the government. Does he mean that the government considers it essential to eliminate them every day. There are other presenters to speak @gmb it is certainly not essential. “

Continuing to be moved and thinking about how Piers would act if the shoe was on the other foot, Alan then tweeted again: “. @piersmorgan not an essential worker designated by the government. There are nurses, doctors, police, soldiers, train and truck drivers.

“He deprived a real essential worker of a test. If it was Hugh Grant, Meghan or others of his enemies like me. “
