Two new confirmed deaths in Kenya
Dr. Rashid Aman confirmed at today’s briefing at Afya House that two other people died from Covid-19-related illnesses in Mombasa, bringing the total death toll to 31.
Aman added that 1,056 test results returned from the analysis, 23 of which were positive, including 22 Kenyan patients and one Burundian. Of the 23 positive cases – 13 men and 10 women, 12 were from Mombasa, six from Mandera, four from Nairobi and one from Kajiado.
The ages of those who tested positive in Kenya range from one year and nine months to 80 years.
The total number of confirmed positive cases in Kenya is now 672.
