The 53-year-old Good Morning Britain host cut a relaxed figure while standing on the street outside her house and filmed her neighbors joining in the applause.

Speaking to Instagram, Kate shared a video from her street once again applauding NHS staff, some even setting off red, white and blue flares in honor of Victory in Europe Day (VE ).
In a long caption, she informed fans of Derek’s condition, revealing that he was “always with us” as he continued to fight the virus.
Kate added that she was still “amazed” by NHS workers working on the front lines to fight the deadly virus, and urged fans to take inspiration from Captain Tom Moore before the second anniversary of World War II on Friday .

“I have taken so much comfort and inspiration from the spirit of the country magnificently personified by Captain Tom in recent weeks ……… and with the day before tomorrow, it is a reminder of the strength and the resilience we all have within us if we pull together and keep going.
“Derek is always with us, fighting so hard to defeat this virus and every day I am impressed by the difficulty with which each member of the nhs team fights to change things and bring it back (and so many others ) at home for their loved ones.

He said, “One of our colleagues, Kate Garraway, said that one of the things that really comforted her was the fact that the staff picked up the phone at night and that she could talk to her husband.
“She has no idea if he responds, but it certainly gives her a sense of comfort and there is hope. “
