Reds coach downplayed talks over his team’s entry into the transfer market for the two players last year, dismissing speculation about Paris star Saint-Germain Mbappe in November before expressing feelings similar on the English winger Sancho a few weeks later.
Despite Klopp’s respective comments on top strikers, Liverpool continues to be named in connection with the two as ties have intensified on Borussia Dortmund Sancho wideman after Trent Alexander-Arnold revealed his admiration last week .
However, both players are likely to order fees that range between £ 100 and £ 200 million, and a decision for either was already highly unlikely this summer, even before the uncertainty over the impact of the coronavirus on football finances.
Responding to a question from beIN Sport, Klopp said that although he is a big fan of players like Mbappe and Sancho, it would be wise not to add to the speculation.
Klopp said, “Look, I can’t answer these kinds of questions without creating titles the next day, I know that’s what I don’t want to do.
“I love them all and there are still a few players. They are all exceptional players.
“The players they are now are because of their own attitude, because of their skills and all that.
“I love watching them, but I have no problem never forming one.”
Klopp preferred to focus his words on his current three firsts, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, saying that he had never thought of coaching players like Mbappe, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I am completely satisfied with the boys I have, but I never thought of the others,” said the Liverpool boss.
“When I’m in a club, so I work with the players I have, I don’t dream of other players.
“If we can get one in the future, we will see, but we will make the most of the situation we have.
“Sadio Mane is young enough and Mo Salah is young enough to be part of this group for the next few years. “
Asked about a summer move for Mbappe in November, the Reds manager admitted that the type of numbers involved for a player like the France World Cup winner would be too difficult to execute.

“We have nothing to say about it to be honest, but [buying] this caliber of player is difficult! “Said Klopp.
“I don’t think there is a club in the world that can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG, that’s how it is. And we are also involved. “
Speaking of Dortmund Sancho’s winger, Klopp said in December, “I have no idea where this stuff comes from, but it can’t come from us because we never talk about it.
“If we were involved, no one would know except someone who wouldn’t talk about it. There is nothing to say. “
