Julian Savea leaves France and is ready to return to Super Rugby or NRL.
The former All Blacks wing announced his departure from Toulon on Instagram, and also posted an accompanying video with his brother Ardie in which he spoke candidly about his future.
“I’m open to anything,” said Savea. “Ideally, I would like my back with the‘ Cannes.
“If that doesn’t happen, it could be another franchise, it could be Japan, it could be the NZ Warriors. “
Savea is still locked out in France and has admitted that no change is likely before the 2021 season next season.
Former Hurricane teammate Nehe Milner-Skudder announced Wednesday that he will join the Highlanders for the 2020-2021 seasons.
