Also last week, as part of the Harry Potter at Home Initiative, a list of celebrities signed up to read chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – including Daniel Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Noma Dumezweni and Eddie Redmayne.
Radcliffe launched the project by reading the first chapter, “The Boy Who Lived”, as the 17 chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be read by different narrators by mid-summer. Videos will be posted weekly on the Harry Potter At Home hub, with audio versions available for streaming on Spotify.
