Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda gets an early streaming release on Disney +
Three months after Disney successfully acquired global distribution rights for the filmed version of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award-winning musical Hamilton, the Mouse House has ad accelerate the long-awaited premiere by officially offering it a first streaming version on Disney +. Originally scheduled for theatrical release on October 15, 2021, the filmed version of the original Broadway production will now be available for streaming on Friday, July 3, 2020.
