Gemma Collins was not impressed when asked to do voice over work to promote Ferne McCann’s First Time Mum.

In the Sunday night finale of Gemma Collins: Diva on Lockdown, fans saw the star complaining when she found out that she was to promote the Ferne show as well as Joe Swash’s appearance at Celebrity Dinner Date.

Gemma, 39, insisted that she was a “star”, not “some begging voice over,” adding that she had nothing against her former TOWIE Ferne co-star, 29, with which she has faced on numerous occasions in the past.

Reading her screenplay in bed, Gemma said, “Now it’s time for a little dinner with Joe Swash. Why should I introduce Joe Swash?

“Sorry, that’s a little awkward. I am not a presenter, I am a star. Why do I introduce people? ‘

Gemma then called her agent Mark to ask her why the voiceover script was sent to her, again insisting that she is not a television host.

She said, “I’m doing voice overs by presenting Ferne McCann, Joe Swash and The Bachelorette, right? I’m not a presenter Mark. ‘

Gemma’s agent told her that it was not harmful and that it would be good publicity for her own show, so she agreed to continue.

Ferne and Gemma have fought in the past during their time together on TOWIE, the GoC calling Ferne a “c ***” after allegedly saying that she needed a gastric band.

In another memorable argument, Gemma claimed that no one liked Ferne and then stormed a party at Billie Faiers’ home, leaving her rival in tears.

Elsewhere in the episode, Gemma became moved when she listened to Captain Tom Moore and Michael Ball’s rendition of You Will Never Walk Alone, giving generously £ 1,000 to the cause.

She also had a video call with Kim Kardashian’s best friend and former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Jonathan Cheban to see how he was locked out.

Gemma went on Instagram Monday and shared a great photo of her posing in a blue flowered dress.

The star said she maintains a positive mental attitude during the lockdown and also improved her eating habits as she no longer goes out for meals.

She wrote: ‘Have a nice day everyone stay POSITIVE and use your time wisely ✌ I have focused only on my health recently and I feel so much better because I have had TIME !!!!! Yes TIME !!! to focus on it.

“Don’t eat outside and have to cook from scratch. I have Saturdays off to get everything I want, but use the next 3 weeks wisely, keep a positive frame of mind. Try to stick to the routine for the week, I think it helps. ”
