The death toll in the UK has risen to over 28,000.

The Department of Health said 28,446 people had died after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Another 14 people died after being tested positive for coronavirus in Wales, bringing the total to 983.

Public Health Wales yesterday recorded 174 new known cases, which means that 10,329 people tested positive for the disease in Wales, although the actual number is likely to be much higher.
