It’s time to spread your worries and leave your worries locked for another day…

Because the classic children’s show Fraggle Rock is to be relaunched by Apple TV +, 33 years after the last series premiered.

Gobo, Red, Boober, Mokey, Wembley and Uncle Traveling Matt will come together for more songs and adventures, which will be co-produced by The Jim Henson Company.

In addition to the new series, each existing episode of the puppet show has just landed on Apple TV +.

This is the first time that Apple TV + has offered previously produced content.

The Emmy Award-winning Fraggle Rock was designed by the late creator of the Muppets Henson, and appeared on television for the first time in 1983. It spanned five series, ending in 1987.

What’s going on at Fraggle Rock?

The new series will follow the recent celebrity-packed Fraggle Rock: Rock On! shorts, which debuted on the same platform in April.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, he showed puppets living in caves observing social distance, living apart and interacting via a video chat system installed by their chubby green neighbors the Doozers.

The likes of actress Tiffany Haddish and singers Alanis Morissette and Ziggy Marley made cameos in the specials, which were made from the homes of various artists and producers using camera phones.

A film version of the show, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, has been in the works for years, but has yet to see the light of day.

Henson’s daughter Lisa will direct the production of the new series, which will appear on Apple’s new list alongside shows like Helpsters from the Sesame Workshop and Snoopy in Space from Peanuts.
