The former first of five All Blacks Colin Slade leaves Pau in the French Top 14 to join the Japanese club Dynaboars.
The 32-year-old confirmed his decision by saying in an article on Instagram: “It is sad to think that my time with Pau is over, but I look forward to continuing my career in Japan next season. “
The two-time World Cup winner spent five years with Pau after joining him after the 2015 triumph in England.
He also competed in the 2011 World Cup victory at home when the All Blacks suffered a series of injuries to their No. 10.
