The television doctor appeared on ITV1’s daytime show Wednesday morning (May 6) where he was interviewed by Susanna.
Susanna Britain of Great Britain hosted the show alongside Ben, who spoke again for Piers Morgan after the controversial presenter developed a “mild” Covid-19 symptom.
Before Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s long-awaited announcement on Sunday, Susanna asked Dr. Hilary what to expect.
Susanna asked Dr. Hilary, “We had a lot of information in advance about how it could affect workplaces, how it could affect restaurants, how it could affect bars.
“But we don’t have a lot of information on how it can affect couples – people who have been separated, people who haven’t been able to see each other for seven weeks.
“I wonder if the rules could change? “
Dr. Hilary replied, “They could do it. It may be possible for people to expand the bubble in which they live a little, to include other family members, friends, but small gatherings in open spaces.
“These would be safer measures than allowing everyone to meet again in large groups. “
Dr. Hilary warned: “Any relaxation must be measured, any relaxation must be sensitive, logical and thoughtful. “
