Dennis Lindsey: Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell “ready to put it behind them”

The future of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell as team mates in service with Utah Jazz is cause for concern as they both tested positive for COVID-19 in March.

“They’re ready to put it behind them, move on, act professionally,” said Dennis Lindsey in a media call to Zoom on Tuesday. “Look, the COVID-19 night of March [11] was truly unprecedented. He brought a microscope to our team, and we have it. That said, we are very satisfied with the collective composition of our group, Donovan and Rudy in particular.

“We can’t wait to get going. They said their piece. They both went to the property level, to the management level, to the coaches level, to the players level. “

Gobert signed a $ 102 million four-year extension with Jazz in 2016. Gobert will be eligible to sign a supermax extension this offseason.

Mitchell will also be eligible to sign an extension with the Jazz this off-season and should do so.
