This week, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones expressed his intention to have a “big money fight” against knockout artist Francis Ngannou. “The Predator”, which is currently on a four-game streak in the first round, finally agreed whether it’s for a big pay day.
As Jones has already started to fight the battle as a “David and Goliath” battle, Dana White is not yet sold too much. Specifically, the president of the UFC is skeptical about whether the two elite fighters really want the fight to happen.
“I don’t know if these guys really want this fight,” White told media at the second Jacksonville show on Saturday.
“Let me tell you this, and I’m not saying that is the case with these two. You see a lot of discussions online or anything. In fact, fighting is a “different ball game”.
Jones has been talking about going heavyweight since 2013. But recently, he broached the idea of taking a 220 pound “show fight” before going heavyweight.
