Coronavirus: the care home that closed early


Despite government pressure to remove patients from hospitals, this Oxfordshire nursing home refused and closed early to protect its residents.

About a quarter of all known coronavirus deaths in the UK have occurred in nursing homes, the Prime Minister said he “bitterly regrets” the epidemic and that the government is “working very hard” to deal with it.

So what does the nursing home look like that refused to accept recently discharged hospital patients, who they say had not been tested for Covid-19? And how does it compare to other less expensive nursing homes in the area?
