NEW YORK CITY (WABC) – This is normally a time when we pay tribute to fallen soldiers, but a Queens veteran has taken the time to pay tribute to the lives lost due to the coronavirus pandemic.John Christ played “Taps” – a bugle call usually played at a military funeral – on the steps of his house.

He is also a dove keeper and, moments later, released his band in the sky.
