Christine McGuinness “Blamed” For Three Autistic Children


Christine McGuinness has admitted that she blames her children for being an austere.

The model, 32, is married to Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness, 46, and shares six-year-old twins, Leo and Penelope and Felicity, three, with him.

All three of their children are autistic, which Christine says she thought was her fault because they spent all their time with her when their father worked far away from home.

Speaking on the MTV Nappy Days podcast, Christine said, “They were with me all the time. My husband works a lot, so I thought it might be me and that I hadn’t taught them very well.

Christine thought she was to blame for her children with autism

“They never went to nursery or playgroups, so I blamed myself for having no social skills.

“I thought it was up to me to do trash work as a mother. “

According to the NHS, it is unclear what causes autism.

Christine is married to Paddy McGuinness

It may be genetic, but it is not caused by parenthood.

Christine recently admitted that she was concerned that her children would return to school as the nationwide lockdown eased.

She said she would have a vacation when we can finally travel abroad.
