Children died of mysterious syndrome in New York


President Donald Trump’s argument to reopen public schools was that the coronavirus is not targeting children, so it was important for them to return to class before the end of the school year.

President Might Have To Reconsider Pushing Governors To Reopen Public Schools As New York Has Reported At Least 85 Cases Of Mysterious Syndrome In Children which could be related to Covid-19. Now Empire State health experts are urging parents to pay close attention to the following symptoms, as they could be fatal to their children.

“I would tell parents if your child has nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pallor – the color of their face changes, the color of their lips and fingers – if they have chest pain... they need to call their doctor and they need to be assessed, “said Dr. Howard Zucker, New York health commissioner and pediatric cardiologist.

Dr. Zucker named this disease pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome and most of the 85 cases mentioned above are under investigation, but they involved toddlers and children of elementary age. Of these 85 cases 3 died in New York and two more additional deaths are under investigation according to Governor Andrew Cuomo.

New York mayor Bill de Blasio announced Sunday that 38 of the cases involved children in New York. Children elsewhere in the United States. were also hospitalized for pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome, which has also been observed in Europe.
