Celebrities will try to cut their own locks in CBS Special

It happened to that. Tired of their long streaks, celebrities like Kelly Osbourne and Olympian Lindsey Vonn will try to cut their hair on CBS.

The one-hour special, “Haircut Night in America,” will feature top stylists who guide viewers, celebrities, and front-line health professionals on how to cut their hair, which , like the rest of us, has been quarantined for the past few months, probably getting a little unruly. The special, which will air on Friday May 28, will be moderated by Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn.

In “Haircut Night in America”, the best stylists will expertly guide celebrities through a “cut-a-long” of their homes and reveal the final looks, whatever the outcome. They will also weave tips and tricks for viewers to make the best hairstyles at home, transforming DIY hair into hair! Additionally, O’Connell and Romijn will highlight some of the best moments of personal care that hit social media while sheltering on site.

The special will also include NHL superstar P.K. Subban.

“We are all in the same boat, and we are all starting to look a bit shaggy. So grab your scissors and join us for a night of metamorphoses, stars, laughter, advice and haircuts from celebrities overseen by the best stylists in the world, “said executive producer Tom Forman.

“Haircut Night in America” is produced by Critical Content. Executive producers are Tom Forman, Jenny Daly, Matt Pickel and Dave Metzler. The special was produced remotely with many security measures in place.
