Baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor was born on May 6, 2019 and was baptized exactly two months later. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to cut down on their original plans for their son’s first birthday in light of the ongoing pandemic.
The couple originally planned to take Archie to Scotland to spend time with his great-grandmother, the Queen, and have a picnic together on his Balmoral estate.

Kensington Palace revealed the news of Meghan’s pregnancy for the first time on her official Twitter page in 2018.
The post said: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the spring of 2019.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan are expected to release a revealing book called Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, which will be released this year.
The book, written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, is supposed to explain the life of the Duke and Duchess in the royal family and the subsequent decisions they made – such as resigning as senior royals.
The book promises to “reveal unknown details of the lives of Harry and Meghan together” because “few know the true story” of the couple.
The book’s editors, Harper Collins, say it goes beyond the headlines, “dispelling the many rumors and misconceptions that have plagued the couple on both sides of the pond.”

The two writers have unique access and the book was written with the participation of the couple’s closest friends and relatives.
