The future of the Gabonese international at the Emirates Stadium is uncertain, his contract expiring at the end of next season and it is also linked to moves to Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
As expected, head coach Mikel Arteta has said he would rather Aubameyang stay, which comes as no surprise given the Gunners captain’s goal record since joining Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

“For me it’s very easy,” said Arteta earlier in the season. “I want to keep it under all circumstances.
“We will see the intentions we have and his intentions. Where we are sitting at the table right now. I think it’s difficult to predict this context right now. “
But until Aubameyang announces his plans, speculation about his future will rumble and many Arsenal fans will be concerned about a summer outing.
But should they be?
While searching for clues to Aubameyang’s decision, an Arsenal supporter @LacaZte posted a theory on Twitter.
Based on the Gunners’ Instagram page which had images of the club captain as their first four posts, he convinced the fan that Aubameyang had already signed a new deal or would do so in the weeks or months to come.
The theory also prompted other fans to share their belief that Aubameyang would indeed stay at Emirates Stadium for some time.

Arsenal during the break
Arsenal fans aren’t the only ones hoping for a decision soon.
Last month, the Gunners’ father, No. 14, appeared to have called on his son to entrust his future to the North London outfit with a message on social media.
An Arsenal fan account on Instagram posted an image of Aubameyang signing his original contract with the club in January 2018, with the caption: “You know what to do, brother. On which his father republished his Instagram story.
