Aritzia reopened its site at Park Royal in West Vancouver on Thursday. Its Robson Street location will open on Friday and the TNA South Granville sister store will open on Saturday.
The company said in a statement that it has implemented many changes to ensure that in-person purchases are safe for employees and customers.
These include fewer customers in the store, spacing of people online, hand disinfection stations at the front of the store, changing rooms and back rooms, the provision of masks, gloves and other equipment, increased physical distance and increased cleaning.

Customers will also not be allowed to sit in the store and there will be a limit of people in the changing rooms.
Similar measures will also be in place in all Hudson’s Bay stores when they reopen in the province on Tuesday.

The stores will operate with reduced hours, starting at 12 noon. at 5 p.m. daily, to allow for thorough cleaning, and will open one hour earlier on Tuesday for frontline workers, the elderly and the disabled.

Holt Renfrew in Vancouver will also open on May 19.
In addition to the above measures, Holt Renfrew said he would not accept cash either and that all associates would wear disposable gloves and masks. Customers can request this protective equipment if desired.
The second phase of the province’s restart plan begins on Tuesday, and although retail stores have never been closed, many business owners have chosen to do so.
