Anderson Cooper was seen in New York for the first time this week after welcoming his eldest son Wyatt to the world.
The exit came at the time of the emergence of the 52-year-old CNN anchor, who quietly found his ex-boyfriend Benjamin Maisani before the birth of his son.
“Anderson has reconciled with Ben,” a source told Us Weekly.
“They have very quietly got back together and plan ahead. Ben sells one of his clubs and reduces his night activities so that he can spend more time at home with Anderson and the baby.

The news came when Anderson was seen wearing a face mask in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic while picking up a new mini-trash can for his home.
Wyatt was born last Monday through surrogacy and Anderson made the public announcement Thursday night, both on Instagram and on his CNN AC360 show.
His Instagram post accompanied an album of him and the baby, including a moving snapshot of Anderson kissing Wyatt’s forehead.

“It is named after my father, who died at the age of ten. I hope I can be as good a father as he is, “wrote Anderson, whose father was writer Wyatt Cooper.
“My son’s middle name is Morgan. It’s a last name on my mom’s side. I know my mom and dad liked the name Morgan because I recently found a list they made 52 years ago when they were trying to think of names for me.
Heiress son Gloria Vanderbilt added, “As a gay child, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I am grateful to all who led the way, as well that doctors and nurses and everyone involved in the birth of my son.
New father: Wyatt was born on Monday as a surrogate mother and Anderson made the public announcement Thursday evening, both on Instagram and his CNN AC360 show.
“I hope I can be as good a father as he is”: “He is named after my father who died at the age of ten,” said Anderson, whose mother was Gloria Vanderbilt’s heiress.
Anderson thanked “a remarkable surrogate who carried and cared for Wyatt with love and tenderness and gave birth to him. It’s an amazing blessing – what she and all the surrogates give to families who cannot have children.
The CNN anchor, who lost his mother last year to stomach cancer and his brother Carter by suicide in 1988, thought of his family when his son was born.
“I wish my mother and father and brother Carter were alive to meet Wyatt, but I like to think they can see him. I imagine them all together, arms around each other, smiling and laughing, happy to know that their love is alive in me and in Wyatt, and that our family continues, “wrote Anderson.
