A community in northern Saskatchewan mourns the death of a woman who family members say has lost her battle against COVID-19.
Krystal Maurice expressed his grief over the death of his mother, Nelda Maurice, in an article on social media on Tuesday morning.
“On the way to the funeral home. I felt like it was a dream. Oh my god, my heart is so broken, “Krystal wrote. “Thank you all for your support and generosity during this time, we greatly appreciate it.”
Nelda Maurice, 64, was a resident of Ile-à-la-Crosse.
