It looks like Rhea Ripley will be out of TV for a while.
PWinsider.com reported on Tuesday that former NXT female champion had to return to Australia this week because her visa expired.
WWE has been reported to record new episodes of NXT television this week. That said, it is unlikely that Ripley will be able to return to the United States in time for the television recordings. As such, she may be absent from the weekly NXT show on USA Network.
To date, there is no word yet that the issues with her via have anything to do with the outcome of her last WWE game.
Ripley dropped the female NXT title to Charlotte Flair on the second night of WrestleMania 36. It is also possible that Ripley may be away from the United States for some time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
WWE is expected to determine a new No. 1 competitor for the NXT women’s title in Wednesday’s NXT episode. Io Shirai, Mia Yim, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Chelsea Green and Candice LeRae will face off in a six-game match with Ladder Match.
