Seth Rollins has come a long way since WrestleMania 35. The former Shield member beat Brock Lesnar at last year’s show to become the new universal champion and he was the best babyface in the business at the time.
Rollins has returned to a heel and is now the head of his wicked faction. The stable’s future, however, is uncertain due to Rezar’s injury which will keep Pain writers away from WWE TV for at least 6 months.
Sportskeeda’s Tom Colohue told Korey Gunz on the latest Dropkick DiSKussions podcast that we might not see too much Rollins on TV after WrestleMania.
I do not know how long the Seth Rollins faction will survive with AOP removed from television. I suspected him and said before, we may not see too much of him directly after WrestleMania.
Tom Colohue reported in February that he had heard rumors that Rollins may have had a short break with Becky Lynch.
With the PDO out of service for the foreseeable future, this could be the perfect time for the former universal champion to take a well-deserved break.
A few weeks ago, a source told Tom that Lynch and Rollins could be removed from television after WrestleMania and Irish Lasskicker even alluded to the same thing in his RAW episode promo.
Seth Rollins will face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania and we don’t even know if Murphy would be around because the former Cruiserweight champion would also have been ill.
With one faction exhausted and the coronavirus pandemic underway, all roads will lead to a potential disruption for the Messiah on Monday evening after the Show of Shows.
Becky Lynch should also drop the RAW women’s title to Shayna Baszler, which would give the couple the freedom to take some time to unwind.
