Farah Hannoun: Francis Ngannou against Jairzinho Rozenstruik

Francis Ngannou

There is no doubt that this is the # 1 fight against heavyweights, and the stakes are very high.

Francis Ngannou cracked for another crack in the title, after eliminating his last three opponents in the first round. He struggled to find opponents, but undefeated candidate Jairzinho Rozenstruik stepped up his efforts.

Rozenstruik has just won an incredible comeback victory over Alistair Overeem and is left with a huge opportunity to overthrow the highest ranked Ngannou and jump the rest of the division for a title shot.

With almost a 100% completion rate between them, it is likely that one of them will fall in a match between two of the toughest hitters in the division.

The trilogy fight between champion Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier has not yet been booked, prompting Ngannou and Rozenstruik to request that their fight be for the interim title. But the UFC was not on board.

Anyway, the next challenger for the title will most likely come out of this fight.
