With Aiden Zhane out of the game, his rivalry with Brita has been crushed (for now), but there is still a lot of drama in the RuPaul Drag Race workshop this Friday (VH1, 8 / 7c).
As noted in the clip above, the queens still have some “unsolved problems” compared to last week Untucked, especially Heidi N. Closet and Widow Von’Du, feeling as if some of the queens are going too far with their hurtful and unsolicited criticism. “You are going to have to call me referee, because I’m about to call these bitches,” Heidi told the cameras.
Gigi Goode apologizes, insisting that she would never imply that Heidi is ugly. Other queens like Jackie Cox and Sherry Pie follow suit, but not everyone is interested in hearing what they have to say.
After saying that she hoped they would fall in the next dance challenge, Widow said to the queens, “I hope someone demolishes you as much as you destroyed us.”
Needless to say, the energy in the work room is tense when the queens come together for this week’s challenge, Madonna: Unauthorized Rusical. And this tension only intensifies when queens start to cast roles, especially when Brita’s limited vocal range leads her to steal Gigi’s # 1 choice.
At least Jan seems to have the right attitude to meet this challenge. She is not happy to portray Madonna “early”, nor does she want to be the first queen of the scene, but she accepts it and continues with a hearty, “Yeah, I’ll sing my t – ts! “
