Walmart still wants customers, a little less at a time while the United States is struggling with the coronavirus pandemic.

The country’s largest retailer said it would now allow more than five customers per 1,000 square feet at any one time, or about 20% of the store’s average capacity.

To monitor the restriction, workers will line up a queue at a single entry door and direct arriving customers to it. Buyers will be admitted one by one.

Walmart is joining Target and others in trying to limit the number of customers in their stores to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
