There is no denying that the heavyweight competitor of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Francis Ngannou is one of the most terrifying fighters in all combat sports. Based on its size, athletic ability and record hitting power, “Predator” is the last person you want to fight with.
But how does Ngannou compare to other top athletes in the world, like the NBA Hall of Fame, Shaquille O’Neal?
Ngannou and Shaq actually met last year at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. The two men were standing side by side and it was clear that Shaq had a significant advantage. This was always going to be the case because “The Big Aristotle” is one of the most intimidating basketball players of all time. He is seven feet tall and weighs about 300 pounds.
It is not so far that combat fans can see an extended version of this meeting. Ngannou posted invisible video footage (above) earlier this week via Twittershowing himself lifting Shaq above his head as if the former NBA star was a little girl.
“Shaq you are not as heavy as I thought. This is probably why you can fly in the field, “wrote Ngannou
It’s pretty incredible when you consider Shaq’s size and how Ngannou is able to transport it effortlessly. It just shows that “Predator” is in a league apart for heavyweights when it comes to size, strength and physical dominance.
It also makes you wonder how current UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic was able to dominate Ngannou when the two fought for the title at UFC 220.
Ngannou, 33, captured three first-round knockouts after abandoning consecutive Octagon appearances to Miocic and Derrick Lewis in 2018. Former heavyweight title challenger did enough to win another belt shot from Miocic, but this location is currently reserved for Daniel Cormier.
That leaves “Predator” to the left to challenge the growing knockout sensation of Jairzinho Rozenstruick on the mega card offered by the UFC next month.
