Comedian Vic Henley died at the age of 57 of a pulmonary embolism, his family said in a statement. Vic’s niece announced the tragic news of his death on Facebook.
“We love you more than you could ever know, Uncle Vic. “
The comedian’s niece then congratulated his uncle on “the smile and the laughter he brought to all of us.”
She added: “The number of places he has performed in the country and having been nominated eight times for the title of Comedian of the Year tells you a lot about the respect he had in his job industry.

Actor Adam Sandler shared a photo of Vic on stage with the caption: “RIP VIC HENLEY. Such a funny man. I loved it. Thoughts and prayers to his family. “
