UEFA has lifted the ban on the broadcast of matches from 3 p.m. on a Saturday live on television in England and Scotland.
This decision comes after requests from the Football Association and the Scottish Football Association in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
It is seen as the first step towards restarting some national competitions in the UK behind closed doors.
The blackout has long been in place during the English and Scottish season to protect the audience.
In a statement, the Uefa said: “The Uefa has lifted the protection of the” blocked hours “granted to England and Scotland for the rest of the 2019-2020 season following requests from the national associations competent following measures taken in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic. “
