Tyson Fury was originally part of the plans for WrestleMania 36

TalkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy reports that Tyson Fury was to be outside of the WrestleMania 36 festivities in Tampa, but the coronavirus pandemic has interfered in these plans.

Fury confirmed with talkSPORT that he was going to be a factor in the “Immortal Showcase”

“I was supposed to be at WrestleMania 36, but obviously with the coronavirus, I couldn’t be there,” said Fury. McCarthy also adds that he would love to face McIntyre after winning his match with Deontay Wilder.

Tampa would have hosted WM38

The WrestleMania may have left Tampa Bay last weekend, but may be able to roll back the masts in 2022.

According to WrestleVotes, Tampa Bay appears to be on the shortlist for the location of WrestleMania 38.

Now that the weekend that “should have been” has passed, I can say that Tampa Bay will be in the running to host # Wrestlemania 38 in 2022.

All the initial preparatory work is obviously done, with the city still very eager to host the event. It could be a shoe. Time will tell us.
