Trail Blazers video assistant Zach Cooper dies at 32 | Laundress Report

The Portland Trail Blazers announced on Monday that video assistant Zach Cooper died suddenly at the age of 32, according to Shams Charania stadium and athletics.

Portland president of basketball operations Neil Olshey and head coach Terry Stotts each commented on the situation:

Cooper was in his first season with the organization and “was a device on the field before games training players, “aaccording to Jason Quick of Athletic.

Quick also confirmed that Cooper’s death was not related to the coronavirus.

The NBA season has been suspended since March 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Trail Blazers and owner Jody Allen signed up $ 1.4 million to help pay the night shift workers during the shutdown. Damian Lillard of Portland and CJ McCollum have given a combined amount of $ 270,000 for pandemic relief.
