History has officially entered!
This is Niles Fitch.
You probably recognize him as a Randall teenager from It’s us, constantly shooting at our hearts in every episode in which it appears.
Prepare to fall even more in love with him on screen, as it has just been announced that he will play the first black prince live from Disney in Secret Society of Secondborn Royals.
The 18-year-old actor actually announced the news on his Instagram account on April 17 with the caption “Welcome to Disney’s first black prince.”
Some of you may be wondering, “Wait, isn’t Prince Naveen The princess and the Frog the first black prince? “Technically, no. Disney apparently kept it racially ambiguous.
Anyway, the original Disney + movie follows Sam (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), a second rebel princess in line to take the throne of Illyria, who quickly learns that she has superhuman powers. With the help of Professor James Morrow (Skylar Astin), she joins a secret society of royal recruits as they learn to use their special abilities to help save the world.
We’re going to see Niles in a different light this time. Instead of forcing us to search for fabrics, Niles will show his action moves as Prince Tuma.
Niles teams up with a few other familiar faces, including Élodie Yung (Daredevil), Ashley Liao (Fuller House), Noah Lomax (The walking dead), Isabelle Blake-Thomas (Game Shakers), Olivia Deeble (At home and outside) and Faly Rakotohavana.
When the exciting news was first revealed, Niles received a ton of love and congratulations messages, including his It’s us co-star Sterling K. Brown.
Secret Society of Secondborn Royals should be out this summer on Disney +!
