If you’re running a Harry Potter marathon, Megan Porta of Pip & Ebby shared the perfect Butterbeer recipe for all family members. Butter beer is one of the most talked about drinks in Rowling’s universe and is a cold sweet drink that tastes like butter cream soda.
- 8 ice cubes
- Half a container of 1.75 liters of vanilla ice cream
- 3 cups cream soda (24 oz)
- 6 ounces. butterscotch topping (found in the ice cream toppings section)
Place the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of Scottish caramel syrup and serve immediately.
If you want to give your drink an adult touch, you can add 1/2 cup of vodka or rum to the blender after all the other ingredients have been mashed. Mix until incorporated and serve!
