Thirty-first cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the Greater Sudbury area

Public Health Sudbury and Districts has confirmed the 31st case of COVID-19 in the region.

The most recent case is a woman in her 60s who recently returned home to Greater Sudbury after an international trip.

She was tested on April 9 and is currently in segregation.

No specific travel information was shared regarding this case.

For anyone who has traveled in the past 14 days, visit the Public Health Agency of Canada website for daily updates on COVID-19 exhibitions on flights, cruise ships and mass gatherings.

In addition, Public Health updated its online reports today to indicate that a patient who previously tested positive is now considered “resolved” according to current public health criteria.
