BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand reported 27 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, bringing the country’s total to 2,792 cases, a senior health official said.
Of the new cases, 16 had come in contact with a previously confirmed case, said Taweesin Wisanuyothin, spokesperson for the Government Center for the Administration of the COVID-19 Situation.
No new deaths were reported for the third consecutive day.
Thailand has killed a total of 47 and 1,999 patients have recovered.
