Tarrant County only reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, the lowest total in a week.
The low total, however, is probably the combination of Sunday and the Easter holidays. Some laboratories, it was reported, do not file updates on Sunday.
After reporting only 15 new cases on April 5, the county followed up with its highest days of the pandemic – 83, 73, 77 and 53 cases reported Monday through Thursday last week.
The county has reported a total of 806 cases of COVID-19, including 90 recoveries and 25 deaths. Fort Worth was the hardest hit in the county with 310 cases (34 healings) and 12 deaths. Arlington has 130 cases with 16 recoveries and three deaths.
