The death of a woman in her forties is the 30th death in Tarrant County linked to COVID-19.

Tarrant County public health confirmed the death on Wednesday and said the woman was a resident of Fort Worth and had underlying health conditions.

No further information on the woman should be published.

“Every death of COVID-19 is sad to report,” said Tarrant County director of public health Vinny Taneja. “In our sadness, we also want to remind everyone not to be complacent, to continue to follow directions and we will get out of this crisis. “

Tarrant County health also confirmed another 61 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections to 990 in the county. The county added 53 new cases on Tuesday.

The county also confirmed that 157 people have recovered from the disease.
