Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to sell players this summer if he wants to increase his transfer budget to Manchester United, according to reports.

United permit Solskjaer to bring Odion Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhua in January, while Bruno Fernandes arrived from Sporting Lisbon as part of an agreement worth up to 55 million euros (£ 46.6 million).

Fernandes has already proven to be a wise buy, the Portuguese international having scored three goals and four assists in nine games since his arrival.

NOTICE: No, Lingard and Dier should not bloodily “grow a pair” …

And United should spend again when the transfer window reopens with Solskjaer who would have liked a number of players.

the Subway says the Fernandes deal means Man Utd should give Solskjaer a transfer budget of around £ 150m.

Report finds Solskjaer “must raise funds elsewhere if he wants to complete a redesign” of his team with rumors that Jesse Lingard is the target of Arsenal.

Lingard is “focused on the resurrection of his career” at Man Utd with the Subway adding that Lingard “wants to fight for his place at Old Trafford and will not be kicked out of the club”.

It is understood that the sale of Lingard “could help finance” a decision for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, while United has also been closely linked to Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
