The encounter between Sam Thompson’s ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson and her new love, Zara McDermott, has been the source of many conflicts during the current Made In Chelsea series.
And before the season finale on Monday night, Sam revealed how an innocent carpool between him and Tiff is causing even more tears for Zara.
“Basically, Tiff and I shared an Uber. And it was boring f ** king! Sam, a MIC veteran, told MailOnline. “I came across her one evening. I was training for the marathon at the time, so I was not drinking. We have a lot of the same friends, so I thought it was a good time to chat with her.
Feeling guilty: Sam Thompson “felt like he had cheated” on Zara McDermott after innocently sharing a taxi with ex Tiffany Watson
“We chatted for about half an hour, then I said I should go home and she suggested sharing an Uber. I thought, is it weird that we do this or is it stranger if I say no.
Sam and Tiff – who both live in Fulham – ended up sharing a taxi ride.
“It was just an instant decision. You can’t win anyway. If you say no, she might think I’m bitter. If I say yes, people might start to think there are still feelings. “

The ex-files: Sam admitted that he understood how Zara should feel about her ex all the time
“I really felt like I had cheated – it was just carpooling! Sam explained. “When I accepted the taxi ride, it was an informed decision, I was not drinking, we had a good conversation.
Sam admitted that it doesn’t help when the other girls in Made In Chelsea laugh at Zara.
“There are a lot of girls in the series trying to rain on your parade,” he said. “Zara is going to sit with girls who are not my biggest fan and they will hear about the Uber thing and will all be” Oh my God, how will he dare?
“Next time, I’ll just take the tough road and I won’t have a taxi!

Sam admitted, however, that he understood how Zara should feel about her ex all the time.
“It can’t be easy. But I learned that I have to take into account my girlfriend’s feelings. Because I know I don’t care about Tiff any more that way, Sam thought. “I’m so confident that I love Zara that I think I should just put her feelings on the back burner.
“I thought she was stupid at first, but she just felt uncomfortable. “
In last week’s episode, Sam and Zara had a conversation with Tiff in which Sam repeatedly emphasized his greatness, leaving Zara furious.
Sam said, “It can’t be easy. But I learned that I have to take into account my girlfriend’s feelings. Because I know I don’t care about Tiff anymore that way ‘
“I got out of this thought thinking it was great. I was like “great, we can all be friends”. Because I’m so in love with Zara, I just see myself chatting with Tiff as a friendly thing.
“But because I feel like it doesn’t mean Zara doesn’t do it and so she was surprised that I praised Tiff so emphatically. For me, I just greeted an old friend.

Sam said about Zara: “I thought she was stupid at first, but she just felt uncomfortable”
“I don’t even remember the guy who was dating Tiff,” Sam told himself. “I don’t even consider him the same life. “
Explaining why he handled the situation as he did, he said, “These are just my biggest weaknesses – overcompensation. I’m afraid things will get in the way and I say and do certain things to try to tone them down, but that makes them too intense. This is one of my character flaws.
“If something looks like it’s going bad, I’m doing my best to make sure it isn’t and pushing it too far. At least I can take advantage of these past experiences in the future. all experiences turn you into the guy you become.
