Ronaldinho made a special request during his house arrest in Paraguay – to be able to play football.

The legend of Barcelona and Brazil was released from prison earlier this month after being arrested for arriving in Paraguay with a false passport and an identity card.

After paying his bail of 1.6 million dollars (1.3 million pounds sterling), Ronaldinho and his brother, also arrested, were released from prison and placed under house arrest in Paraguay.

The two are now serving their sentences at the Palmaroga four-and-a-half-star hotel in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay.

But due to the current confinement in Paraguay following the coronavirus epidemic, Ronaldinho, his brother and their two lawyers are the only ones at the hotel.

“Ronaldinho does not lose his temper and he alternates his conversations with jokes,” Emilio Yegros, the hotel manager, told the Mexican newspaper Excelsior.

‘He seems to be a good guy.

“He never loses his smile, nor does his brother.

“His face has changed since the first day, when he arrived tense and stressed. “

Yegros also revealed that Ronaldinho specifically requested a soccer ball and a room to play.

“We gave him a room about 30 by 15 meters for his kickabouts,” said Yegros.
