Liverpool starlet Rhian Brewster described his remembered dream as one of the best players in the world.

Forward Brewster is currently on loan to Swansea where he started his career, before a forced suspension from the football coronavirus, after a serious ankle injury that kept him away for 16 months.

The 20-year-old had scored four times in 10 starts for Swansea and was starting to show the scoring potential he had shown in winning the gold shoe as he led England U17 to glory from the 2017 World Cup alongside Phil Foden and Callum Hudson-Odoi, with Jadon Sancho featured earlier in the tournament.

Brewster, who was named the third best player in the tournament and also has a Liverpool Champions League triumph in 2019 medal against Tottenham, took a trip back in time in an entertaining Q&A session for GAFFER Magazine with his childhood friend and BAFTA award-winning actor, Micheal Ward, who ended up discussing what they hope their career legacy will be.

Brewster said, “I would like my legacy to be remembered for football; and to be one of the best in the world.

“It is always a journey and I work hard, but remembering that one of the best footballers in the world would be a dream.

Brewster has made three first team appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s team and has been on their senior team since recovering from his impressive injury in the preseason last summer.

But despite Liverpool’s best defender Virgil van Dijk, Brewster had the surprise choice for his toughest opponent ‘It’s tough,’ said Brewster.

“Training against Van Dijk is crazy. It’s going to be a surprise but I would say Japan at the World Cup. I’ve never played against such an organized team. We tied 0-0. They played 4-4-2 but we couldn’t get through. “
