At the time of writing, at least 39 people (wrestlers and staff) have been released by WWE, but it looks like more versions are coming.
WrestleVotes reports that the number of people expected to be released is expected to reach hundreds when all is said and done. This would include people who work behind the scenes on the road and at company headquarters.
WWE has only publicly announced that the wrestlers have been released, but several others in the business, including agents, coaches, writers and advertisers, have been released or put on leave.
WrestleVotes wrote: “All I can say is wow at this point. The number of people, staff + talent, letting go will be several hundred when everything is ready. Well into the hundreds. A dark day in WWE history. “
We will release an update when other versions are officially announced / confirmed.

WWE has told people that the door could be opened for some wrestlers to return when the economy stabilizes. At this point, no one knows when this could happen.
