The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge published four new photos of their youngest son on April 22, and they feature the little boy covered in rainbow paint! Louis was probably doing handmade art to honor UK healthcare workers who are busy fighting coronavirus. Just like her first birthday portraits, they were also taken by Kate!
The first sees Louis playfully reach the camera, his hands covered in paint. The second is a photo of his handprint art. The third shows the little boy making playful gestures with his hands next to his face and the fourth sees him smiling brightly at something or someone. A fifth photo not included in the post on Cambridges’ Instagram account shows him stretched toward the camera, his hands covered in paint completely masking his face. So funny!

He also grew so much! The new portraits highlight how much has changed compared to the adorable photos from her first birthday. On April 22, 2019, three sweet portraits of the prince were unveiled. The images, which were also shared on the Kensington Royal Instagram, showed the one-year-old crawling through the forest near the
Cambridge familyAnmer Hall country house in Norfolk.

Royals fans last saw Louis on March 26, when he and his older siblings,
Princess charlotte and Prince George, appeared in a video applauding the support of NHS workers who courageously fight the coronavirus pandemic.
People couldn’t believe how adult Louis was in the video, and they’ll probably feel the same when they see his portraits from his second birthday.
This time of year has many milestones for the
Royal family. Louis’ great-grandmother, the Queen, celebrated its 94th anniversary on April 21. His mother and father, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are also celebrating their ninth anniversary on April 29!
Like all of us, the family may not be able to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together in the normal way due to
COVID-19 blockages and social distancing, but they always find ways to stay in touch and send many happy returns.
With His Majesty and
Prince Philip self-insulating Windsor Castle and the Cambridges remain at their
country house in Anmer Hall, it is said that Louis, Charlotte and George sent their great-grandmothers “chatty videos” as a way to stay in touch! We bet there have been a lot of happy conversations this week!
In these difficult times, it is really difficult to separate from family and friends. It’s also a time when everyone needs a nice getaway.
