Prince Harry’s life in Los Angeles is a “breath of fresh air” from Royal Life, a source says

Prince Harry is now based in Los Angeles with his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and their young son, Archie Harrison. The former senior royal couple is flat in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, so all of the major projects underway are likely on hold.

Still, the two have found ways to get out, including a recent trip to deliver food to the L.A. area. Although there are some reports that Prince Harry is struggling to cope with his new lifestyle, a recent story of We weekly claims something quite the opposite – and in fact, Prince Harry could live his best life.

For many years, Prince Harry was among the most popular members of the British royal family. The public and the press watched him become a man in love with the golden heart. However, after Prince Harry married Meghan, an American actress with strong opinions, there was a marked change in the way the country began to see him.

The royal redhead and his wife began to distance themselves from the media, slowly but surely. They made sure that their son’s baptism was a private matter, they refused to share too many personal photos, and most significantly, they separated from the palace.

By moving into their own private residence, creating their own Instagram page and exposing many of the tabloid stories, Prince Harry and Meghan have made it clear that they are ready to do things their way.

Yet few would have expected that in January 2020, the couple would announce their retirement as senior members of the royal family.

Prince Harry’s New Life

Immediately after posting their controversial Instagram ad, Prince Harry and Meghan began to take big strides.

The Duchess of Sussex retired to a quiet estate in Canada, with baby Archie, while Prince Harry began the process of linking their affairs within the royal family. Many royal fans assumed the couple might end up staying in Canada permanently. However, in early spring, Prince Harry and Meghan quietly packed up and moved to Los Angeles.

While settling in his new, very private home port in Los Angeles, Prince Harry was still in touch with his family. According to some sources, he chatted with them regularly via video chat and even participated, with his wife and son, in a videoconference with the whole family, in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s recent birthday.

According to a recent report by We weekly, Prince Harry’s move to Los Angeles has been “a breath of fresh air from his former duties” and that he is finally excited about what the future may hold for us. Certainly living in Los Angeles makes it easier for the couple to access the celebrity culture they seem to gravitate toward.

Plus, while the California paparazzi can be intense, they probably won’t be as vicious to Meghan as many British tabloids have been.

As retired members of the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan are free to set their own rules and no longer have to live within the constraints imposed on other members of the royal family such as Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge. If Meghan wants to go out with shorts or wear a new hairstyle or bold lip color, she no longer has to worry about what the palate might think. For Prince Harry, in particular, life in California will certainly only be positive.
